Meet Our Therapists

Gianna Maunu, LMFT

LMFT #77757

Personally and professionally we all experience change, and I am no exception.  Before entering the field of marriage and family therapy, I was a teacher for 15 years.  Even as a therapist, I believe strongly in the learning process.  Learning  and curiosity create understanding and a more secure sense of ourselves.

In my practice I am drawn to experiences of change and transition that create unique opportunities to deepen our insight into self.  The Empty Nest journey is one such transition.  So normal and yet filled with so much change, thoughts and emotions.  When we surround ourselves with support during these moments of change, we give ourselves the greatest chance to move through feeling connected and able to face the next moment in our life.  Please contact me if you are seeking support

Giving back and staying connected to community is another aspect of both my personal and professional life.  I am currently working as a supervisor, consultant and therapist for pre-licensed and licensed therapists.  My position offers me the opportunity to continue my passion for learning while helping  therapists develop their own professional identities and passions.

Life will always create transitions.  If you are looking for a safe and guiding experience through your personal journey of change, please reach out.

Laurel Wise, AMFT

Registered Associate MFT # 147087

Laurel Wise is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist based in Los Angeles, providing virtual services across California. She helps individuals and couples who are experiencing stress, the impact of anxiety, or trauma experience relief so that they can feel (re)grounded in a sense of self and genuine connection to others. Laurel's work is built upon creating a strong therapeutic bond and using whole self (mind and body) approaches like mindfulness and somatic techniques to support clients in activating their own healing capacity. She holds an MA from Pacifica Graduate Institute and enjoys being outside and spending quality time with her partner and cats when she is not working.

Whether you’re new to therapy or well-versed in this arena, Laurel looks forward to learning more about you.
